Note!
Hose inside diameters that are too small and hose
lines that are too long lead to a loss of perfor-
mance on the device.
The product may only be used in the intended manner.
Any use beyond this is improper. The user/operator, not
the manufacturer, is responsible for damages or inju-
ries of any type resulting from this.
An element of the intended use is also the observance
of the safety instructions, as well as the assembly in-
structions and operating information in the operating
manual.
Persons who operate and maintain the product must be
familiar with the manual and must be informed about
potential dangers.
In addition, the applicable accident prevention regula-
tions must be strictly observed.
Other general occupational health and safety-related
rules and regulations must be observed.
The liability of the manufacturer and resulting damages
are excluded in the event of modifications of the product.
The product may only be operated with original parts
and original accessories from the manufacturer.
The safety, operating and maintenance specifications
of the manufacturer, as well as the dimensions speci-
fied in the technical data, must be observed.

the intention of use for commercial or industrial purpos-
es. We assume no guarantee if the product is used in
commercial or industrial applications, or for equivalent
work.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by
an improper use or incorrect operation of this device.

5. Safety instructions

m WARNING
Read all safety information and instructions. Fail-
ure to adhere to safety information and instructions
can result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injuries.
Save all warnings and instructions for future ref-
erence.
General safety rules
• Keep your fingers away from the trigger when you
are not using this device and alternating from one
working position to another.
• Read and understand the safety instructions before
connecting, disconnecting, charging, using or ser-
vicing the device, alternating accessories or work-
ing near the device. Failure to do so may result in
serious physical injury.
• Keep all parts of the body, such as hands, legs,
etc., away from the direction of firing and ensure
that the driven-in fastener cannot penetrate parts
of the body.
• When using the device, be aware that the driven-in
fastener could bounce off, causing injury.
• Secure the device in a firm grip and prepare for recoil.
• Only technically trained users should use the driv-
ing-in device.
• Do not make any changes to the driving-in device.
Changes may reduce the efficiency of the security
measures and increase the risk for the user and/
or third parties.
• Information on devices intended for use on hard
surfaces such as steel and concrete regarding addi-
tional contact forces required to operate the device
and avoidance of the risk of slipping.
• Do not throw away the operation manual.
• Do not use a device if it has been damaged.
• Be careful when handling driven-in fasteners, espe-
cially when loading and unloading, as the driven-in
fasteners have sharp points that could cause injury.
• Always investigate the device for defective, incor-
rectly connected or worn parts before use.
• Do not lean too far forward. Use only on a secure
workplace. Always make sure you have a firm foot-
ing and keep your balance at all times.
• Keep third parties away (if you are working in an en-
vironment where through traffic of people is likely).
Mark your work area clearly.
• Never aim the device at yourself or others.
• Only wear gloves that provide a suitable feel and
secure operation of the trigger and all adjustment
devices.
Hazards due to flying objects
• The driving-in device must not be connected when
unloading driven-in fasteners, making adjustments,
clearing blockages or replacing accessories.
• During operation, make sure that the driven-in fas-
teners always penetrate the material properly and
are not deflected or misplaced towards the user
and/or third parties.
• During operation, fragments may be ejected from
the workpiece or from the fastening or magazine
system.
