This product can be used by children aged from 8 years

and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or

mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge

if they have been given supervision or instruction concern-

ing use of the product in a safe way and understand the

hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by

children without supervision.

Do not use the product if you detect any kind of damage.

The illuminant is not replaceable.

If the illuminant fails at end of its life, the entire product

must be replaced.

Product-specific safety instructions

Make sure that the solar cell is free of dirt and free of

snow and ice in winter. Otherwise the performance of the

solar cell will diminish.

Cold temperatures have a negative influence on the oper-

ating life of the rechargeable battery. If the product is not

going to be used for a long time, e.g. in winter, it should

be taken up, cleaned and stored in a dry, warm room.

RISK OF INJURY! Make sure that when the lamp is re-

moved, the ground spike is also removed so that it does not

pose a hazard (e.g. tripping).

DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries/rechargeable batter-

ies out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek

immediate medical attention.
