Variation (ST8)
The Variation can be set to compensate
the magnetic heading so that the display
shows the geograpical (True) heading.
• Press
in the default mode to enter
the menu.
• Use the
/
the Variation menu (ST8).
• Press
to enter the Variation
menu.
• Use the
/
offset. This can be set in steps of 0.1°
up to +/- 45°.
• Press
to return to the menu or
• Keep
pressed for two seconds
to exit to the default mode.
Use the up button in the default mode to
select True or Mag. Display (see 3.5).
4.1.9 Error messages
No data input:
The electronic compass has not received
data for more than 5 seconds.
- Check the connections.
No response:
No response after send a command:
- Check the connections or another not
fully compatible compass is connected.
