STATUS INDICATOR
The power head of the auger features an LED status indicator to display the working status of the machine. The LED
indicator will illuminate only when the power head is started.

WORKING CONDITION
Solid green
The power head works properly.
The power head is overloaded.
Solid red
The power head is too cold.
Solid orange
Anti-kickback protection.
Flashing red
The battery pack charge is nearly depleted. Charge the battery pack.
Flashing orange
The power head is overheated.
Flashing green and red
Communication fault.

MAINTENANCE
WARNING:
To prevent serious personal injury,
remove the battery pack from the product before
servicing, cleaning, changing attachments, or removing
material from the unit.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of
commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use.
Use a clean cloth to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
WARNING:
Do not at any time allow brake fluids,
gasoline, petroleum-based products, penetrating oils,
etc. to come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can
damage, weaken or destroy plastic which may result in
serious personal injury.

ACTION
Normal operation. No action needed.
Release the trigger, lift the auger from the
hole and check for the causes of overload.
You may need to find an alternative place
to dig if a large obstruction has caused
the machine to stop.
If the problem can not be solved, contact
EGO customer service for repair.
Release the trigger. Bring the auger
indoors to warm it up.
Release the trigger, lift the auger from the
hole. Restart the auger and gently lower it
back into the hole.
Stop the auger and wait for some time to
cool the auger.
Contact EGO customer service for repair.
Allow the battery pack to cool down and
restart the auger again.
Contact EGO customer service for repair.
STORING THE POWER HEAD
1.
Remove the battery pack from the power head.
2.
Clean the power head thoroughly before storing it.
3.
Store the power head in a dry, well-ventilated area,
locked-up or up high, out of the reach of children. Do
not store the power head on or adjacent to fertilizers,
gasoline, or other chemicals.
PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
Do not dispose of electrical equipment,
used battery and charger into household
waste! Take this product to an authorized
recycler and make it available for
separate collection. Electric tools must be
returned to an environmentally
compatible recycling facility.
