Insert vacuum tube A into the unit (2) and fasten with
screws (13). Fix additionally, using cross-headed
screws (24) on both sides.

– Push and hold down the locking knobs (10).
– Insert vacuum tube B into vacuum tube A until
the locking mechanism engages.

– Push the coupler (12) over the bottom opening in
the unit.
– Fasten with screws.

– Hook the collecting sack (7) onto the product.

– Attach the shoulder strap (15) to one of the two
holes in the handle.

Using for the first time

Danger of fire! Fuel is flammable! Do
not spill fuel. Before fuelling, switch off
the motor and let it cool down. Always
observe all safety information for
handling fuel (see Handling fuels –
Page 32).
Product damage! The product is deli-
vered without fuel-oil mixture. Fill the
product with the fuel-oil mixture before
using for the first time. Mix the fuel with
the two-stroke oil before fuelling.
Note: Heed the specified fuel-oil mix-
ture (see Usable fuel/two-stroke oil –
Page 36). Heed the mixing ratio (see
Technical data – Page 36).

– Open the tank cover (3) by turning it counter-
clockwise.
– Fill the tank with the fuel-oil mixture. (observe
max. tank capacity: see Technical data –
Page 36).
– Close the tank cover (3) by turning it clockwise.

Check before starting!
Risk of injury! The product must only
be put into operation if no defects are
found. It is crucial that any defective
parts are replaced before the product
is used again.
Check the safety equipment and the safe condition
of the product.
– Check all parts to ensure a tight fit.
– Check whether there are any visible defects:
broken parts, cracks, etc.
Adjusting the product
Product damage! Vacuuming and
blowing heavy materials such as
metal, stones, branches, fir cones or
broken glass must be avoided.

– Set adjustment lever (17) to vacuum (A) or
blow (B).

– Set the speed switch (6) to the desired blowing
or vacuuming speed.
• The speed ranges from idle (position E) to very
fast (position F).
Starting the product (cold)
Note: Work with leaf blowers/vacuums
may not be performed during normal
quiet hours.

– Push the on/off switch (5) into position "I".
– Press the fuel pump (18) ten times until fuel flows
into the plastic bladder.
• If no fuel flows into the bladder after it has been
pressed ten times, keep pressing until fuel flows
in.
– Push the choke lever (1) into position A.
