The blower has two active battery ports, located on the
EN
left and right side of the battery port housing.
NOTE:
The blower can operate off of one or two batteries.
Using two batteries gives you a longer run time and efficient
power draw managed by PEAK POWER
When the battery packs are inserted into the
corresponding battery ports marked with 1 or 2 on
the backpack plate, and the blower is turned on, the
corresponding battery icon will illuminate on the LCD
screen (Fig. E1).
To Attach (Fig. E2)
Align the battery ribs with the mounting slots in one and
press the battery pack down until you hear a "click".
Attach the other battery.
To Detach
Depress the battery-release button and pull the battery
pack out.
WARNING:
Always take care to note the location of
your feet, children, or pets when pressing the battery-
release button. Serious injury could result if the battery
falls. NEVER remove the battery when in a high location.

POSITIONING THE BACKPACK BLOWER
WARNING:
Dress properly to reduce the risk of
injury when operating this machine. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewelry. Wear eye and ear/hearing protection.
Wear heavy, long pants, boots and gloves. Do not wear
short pants, sandals or go barefoot.
Before using the backpack blower, make sure that the
operator is wearing eye protection and proper clothing
and can maintain a secure and balanced footing.
To Adjust the Support Harness
1. Pull the two backpack plate straps to make sure the
harness is securely attached to the backpack plate
(Fig. F1).
2. Adjust the back pads and lumbar pad for your
comfort if necessary.

Loosen the shoulder straps, peel the back pads off the
Velcro and move the pads to your desired position,

then pull the shoulder straps to secure the pads for
your pack (Fig. F2).
NOTE:
The horizontal lines on the back pads help both
pads be adjusted at the same level.

Peel the lumbar pad off the Velcro and move the pad to
your desired position (Fig. F3).
3. Put your arms through the harness to support the
blower on your back. Temporarily adjust the chest
straps to comfortable positions, making sure that the
elbow of your right arm is comfortable when holding
the control handle (Fig. F4).
4. Snap the waist buckle and adjust the waist straps
length so that the harness is securely supported by
your waist. If the waist buckle is hard to snap, adjust
the two side straps on each side to make it easily
(Fig. F5).
NOTE:
The harness should not sit too high on your back;
it should be positioned closer to your hips than to your
shoulders.
WARNING:
When emergency occurs, release the
waist buckle immediately to take off the harness. This is a
quick release method.
5. Readjust the chest straps for security and comfort.
Make sure that the harness sits securely on your back,
with the weight supported by the waist strap, and
without excess movement when you move (Fig. F6).
6. Insert any extra length of the straps into the elastic
(Fig. F7).
7. There are several light-reflective strips for safe
operation. Make sure not to cover the light-reflective
strips during operation (Fig. F8).
8. To detach the harness from your back, just press
the waist buckle to release it and lower the blower
(Fig. F9).

To Adjust the Control Handle
1. Release the quick-release lever to move the control
handle forward or backward as needed (Fig. G1 & G2)
and then engage the quick-release lever to secure
the control handle in place.
