The charging level of the battery is indicated properly only with plugged-in charger
unit.
– Push the button "Test Battery" (see E 1).
According to the battery's charging level one of the 3 LED's lights up (see E 2):
High
= the battery is charged. No charging required.
Middle
= the battery is sufficiently charged for actual operation. But needs
charging after use.
Low
= the battery is flat. Charge the battery.
The PowerStarter is equipped with an undervoltage protection. With low discharging an
acoustic signal is emitted. Please charge the PowerStarter immediately to avoid damage.
Maintenance and servicing of the PowerStarter
The PowerStarter is equipped with a maintenance-free 12 V, 7 Ah battery.
Caution! Prevent the PowerStarter from exposure to direct sunlight or other
heat sources.
The battery may explode due to overheating!
– Charge the PowerStarter every 3 months when not in use.
– To clean the PowerStarter, use a soft dry cloth.
To remove stubborn dirt, use a cloth which is only slightly dampened with water.
– Do not use solvents.
