The Lisa-Signolux »soundmonitor« helps people with hearing problems to cope with
everyday life. It enables the perception of acoustic events in the home through visible
signals.
The »soundmonitor« is part of a medical system and is compatible with all devices of the
Lisa-Signolux alerting system.

- The flashes of light emitted by the receiver devices can trigger epileptic seizures in
people with photosensitive epilepsy (PSE).
Function principle
The »soundmonitor« has been designed to learn sounds and to recognise them if they
occur again. Up to three different sounds can be memorized.
This makes it possible to bind special acoustic signals into the Lisa-Signolux aler-
ting system. The »soundmonitor« scans the environmental noise around it for those
sounds it has been taught to react to.
If a memorised sound has been recognised, the »soundmonitor« will send out a radio
signal to all Lisa-Signolux-receivers within range.
