„Frame size": Can be select for each stream. The higher the value the more bandwidth is required.
"Maximum Frame rate": Here you can select the maximum frame rate. The higher the frame rate the more
fluid is the movement is displayed, but the more bandwidth is required.
„Intra frame period": (only for MPEG-4): Here you can set how often an I-Frame (full frame) is displayed. The
smaller the value the better the picture quality, but the more bandwidth is required.
"Video quality": Images showing a lot of movement are harder to compress and create require more disk
space. You can select between two different settings:
•
Constant bit rate: The video stream is set to a fixed bit rate. With Images showing a lot of movement
the video quality could decrease. The setting is recommended for connections with limited bandwidth
(Internet).
•
Fixed quality: All images are transmitted with the same quality. The required bandwidth rises with
the complexity of the image (movement or colour changes). This setting is recommended for
broadband transmission (LAN / Intranet).
Day/Night settings:
„Switch to B/W in night mode ": Here you can switch the network camera to b/w mode.
„IR cut filter": There are following option to switch the IR cut filter:
•
Auto: Automatic switching from colour to b/w below 2 Lux.
•
Schedule mode: Automatic switching from color to b/w at fixed times.
•
Day mode: Manual activating of the day mode. The IR filter is switched to block all IR light.
•
Night mode: Manual activating of the night mode. The IR filter is removed to allow IR light to pass and
improve the image quality in low light conditions.
9.7 Audio settings
"Mute": All audio functions of the network camera will be disabled, even if audio is enabled on the main page.
In this case a popup will be displayed.
"Internal microphone input gain": Here you can adjust the value between +21db and -33db.
„External microphone input": Here you can adjust the value between +21db and -33db.
„Audio type": Here you can select between two audio types and select the bitrate. A higher bitrate requires
more bandwidth:
•
„AAC" (Advanced Audio Coding): Particular audio codec for MPEG-4 audio compression.
•
„GSM-AMR" (Global System for Mobile Communications - Adaptive Multi Rate): Particular audio
codec for transmission with mobile devices.
<URL> http://< network camera >/setup/audiovideo.html
< network camera > is the IP-address or hostname of the network camera.
10. Motion detection
You can set up maximum three motion detection windows. Select "Enable motion detection" in order to
configure the motion detection window.
NOTICE: The function motion detection is first active after configuring a action at „Application".
