8 | changing the battery
The already inserted battery (type 3v cr2032) has a working life for
about 5000 measurements. When the battery symbol flashes, the
battery must be changed.
Switch the device off, press the battery compartment lock with a
sharp object and slide the battery compartment cover downwards at
the same time.
Insert a new battery of the same type with the positive pole at the
top. close the battery compartment cover again. When the battery is
changed, all of the stored results are deleted.
Used batteries should not go into domestic refuse. you are legally
obliged to dispose of the batteries correctly. Dispose of them through
your electrical dealer or local recycling centre. note: you will find
these symbols on batteries containing toxic substances: pb = battery
contains lead, cd = battery contains cadmium, Hg = battery contains
mercury.
The battery in this device does not contain toxic substances.
