automatically after approx. 1 minute. you can also switch off the
device by pressing the ON/MEM button for 10 seconds.

If the temperature obtained is above 37.5°c, a signal sounds three
times after the end of measurement.
5 | memory
The last results obtained are transferred automatically to the
memory.
Calling up the memory
First switch the device on. If you hold the "On/MEM" button pressed
down for longer than 2 seconds, you get into memory mode.
As long as you hold the button pressed down, the memory position
called up at that moment appears on the right.
By pressing again, you can retrieve up to 9 stored results in
succession.
6 | changing the measurement unit
The temperature can be displayed in degrees celsius (°c) and degrees
Fahrenheit (°F). To adjust, hold down the SCAN button while the
ear thermometer is switched off and press down the ON/MEM button
as well. Hold both buttons pressed down until the measurement unit
changes. All of the stored results will be displayed in the new unit.
