Refer to illustration (A) and the detailed photos (B - I) when assembling the stand.
You require the following for the assembly work: open-jawed spanners (SW 10, SW 13, SW 17, SW 21),
Allen key (2.5 mm and a slotted screwdriver (6 mm).
• Fix the swivel arm (2) to the base plate (1) using the M8 hexagon bolts (3), the washers (4), the tooth
lock washers (5) and the hexagon nuts (6).
• Screw both of the adjusting screws (7) into the threaded boreholes in the swivel arm.
• Now fix the rear jaw (8) to the base plate with the M10 hexagon bolt (11) und the square nut (12).
Then mount the M10 hexagon bolt (9), locking washer (10) and the square nut (12) for the angle
adjustment with the jaw and the base plate.
• Fix the front moving clamping jaw (13) with the washer (14), tappet (15), hexagon bolt (11) and
square nut (12) to the base plate; only tighten the hexagon bolt to such an extent that the clamping
jaw still has a small amount of free motion. Then screw the handle (16) into the tappet. Place the lok-
king plate (17) over the head of the hexagon bolt and mount it in the threaded borehole of the tappet
using the M8 hexagon bolt (18). By rotating the tappet at the handle, ensure that the
clamping jaw can be tightened, loosened and moved along the ground plate. The free motion of the
clamping jaw is adjusted with the hexagon bolt (11). Now adhere both of the material protectors
(19/20) to the clamping jaws.
• Mount the protective cover (22) with the two rubber washers (23) and the end cap (24) onto the
protection hood hoop (21). If it should not be possible to push the end cap on, use a hammer.
Then insert the protection hood hoop through the boreholes in the swivel arm and secure it with
the threaded screw (25).
• Mount the cutting stand with suitable screws on your work bench,
• Mounting the angle grinder.
Align the angle grinder in the swivel arm between the two boreholes. Fix the angle grinder in position
with two matching threaded rods (26 or 27). Align the angle grinder with both of the adjusting screws
(7) perpendicular to the base plate. Tighten both of the hexagon nuts (28) over the threaded rods.
Then tighten the handle (29). Check the free running of the cutting disc in the cutting gap. Align
the swivel arm with the mounted angle grinder using the three fastening screws (3) if required.
• After completing the assembly, switch the angle grinder on for a few seconds and then switch
it off again. Re-check the tightness of all of the screws and the screwed connections.
• Your cutting stand is now ready for use.
• Attention: Always remove the plug of the angle grinder from the socket while changing settings,
cleaning and repairing.
• The cutting stand is generally free of maintenance, but oil, grease, dust and chips should be removed.
• Clean the cutting stand with a damp cloth. Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents
or solvents. Afterwards, let all parts dry completely.
• Clean the cutting stand before storing. While not in use, store the cutting stand in a safe, cool,
dry and well-aerated location, out of the reach of children.
• When disposing of the cutting stand, please regard your local disposal regulations.
