AENO™ ABS0002S Smart Body Scales are designed to determine the user's weight as well as additional body parameters.

Restrictions and Warnings
Handle the glass surface of the scales with care: avoid damaging, cracking and chipping the surface as broken glass can cause injury.
Supervise the use of the device by children and persons with physical and mental disabilities. Do not allow children to play with the
device. Place the scales on a hard, flat, horizontal surface to avoid inaccurate measurements. Do not place the scales on carpets or any
other soft surface. Do not load the device beyond the maximum value of the measuring range. If the device is not used for an extended
period of time, remove the batteries and store them out of the reach of children and animals. Do not use chemical and harsh detergents,
abrasive pastes, products containing acids and solvents, or metal sponges to clean the device.
ATTENTION! Do not expose the device to water or other liquids. Do not immerse the device in water. Do not wash the device or any
part of it under running water or in a dishwasher.

Preparing the Device for Operation
Unpack the device and clean it (see "Cleaning and Maintenance"). Open the battery compartment (2) cover and insert the batteries
into the compartment, observing the correct polarity. Press the "UNIT" button (3) to select the unit of weight measurement. After each
press, the display (1) will show the current unit of measurement: "kg" – kilogram, "lb" – pound, "st:lb" – stone. Close the cover of the
compartment. Place the device on a hard, horizontal surface.
Note. The selected settings are saved for current use and for the next time the device is turned on. To reset the settings, press and hold
the "UNIT" button for 5 seconds. The display will show the code "CLr". The settings are also automatically reset when the batteries are
removed.
Operation of the Device
Stand on the surface of the device. The scales will turn on automatically, and the display will show your weight in the selected unit of
measure. Within 5–10 seconds after the weight measurement is complete, the display will show the remaining measurements. Note
that the user must stay on the surface of the scales. The scale will turn off automatically within 15 seconds after all measurements have
been completed.
ATTENTION! Information shown by the scales cannot be considered medical information.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Note. Remove the batteries before cleaning the device.
Wipe the device with a soft cloth dampened with clean water and then wipe dry. If the scales are very dirty, wipe them with a soft cloth
dampened with a mild soap solution. Then wipe with a soft cloth dampened with clean water and wipe dry.
Connecting to AENO Mobile App
Download the AENO mobile app from Google Play or App Store and register a new account (or log in to an existing one).
Stand on the scales to turn them on. Place your smartphone as close to the device as possible.
On the home screen of the app, tap "+" and then tap "Add Device".
Note. If you receive system prompts to turn on any features on your smartphone, follow the prompts.
The device will be found automatically, and its image will appear in the "Autosearch" section. Tap the "Add" button.
Wait until the message indicating that the device has been successfully added appears. Tap "Done".
All parameters that are shown on the display of the scales are available in the app, as well as information about the user's metabolic
rate and biological age, physical condition rating, etc. For more information on the features available in the app, refer to the complete
user manual at aeno.com/documents.
Troubleshooting
The device does not turn on. Possible cause: batteries are missing or discharged; polarity was not observed when inserting the
batteries. Solution: insert charged batteries into the compartment, observing the polarity.
The device does not connect to the app. Possible cause: BT is not enabled on the smartphone; the smartphone is too far away from
the scales; scales settings failure. Solution: enable BT on your smartphone; place the smartphone no more than 5 m away from the
scales; reset the scales to factory settings.
Error Codes Shown on the Display
"Lo" – low power supply charge level; "Err" – maximum allowable weight exceeded; "C" – weighing failure.

disassemble the device or attempt to repair it yourself.
