Switching ON /OFF
– Image A: in order to switch the appliance on, push the on/off switch 4 forwards.
– In order to switch the appliance off, push the on/off switch to position 0.
4.2
Comb attachment
– Image B: switch off the trimmer and push the comb attachment 11 onto the
cutter head 5 until it clicks into place.
– You can then cut hair with the trimmer as usual.
– Image C: the comb attachment 11 can be set to 4 different cutting lengths
(approx. 3 to 6 mm). To do this, push it to the desired position on the cutter
head 5.

Cleaning and care
To ensure perfect functioning and full performance of your trimmer, clean
and oil the appliance regularly.

– Ensure that the on/off switch 4 is set to 0.
– Removing: image E: press on the top of the cutter head 5 with your thumb to
push it off the appliance.
– Mounting: place the cutter head 5 on at the bottom and swing it upwards
until it clicks into place.
Replacing the cutter head

is a wear part. Despite good care, the cutting perfor-
mance will decrease at some point. Replace the cutter head when this hap-
pens. The cutter head can be ordered separately as a spare part from the
customer service centre. The address and telephone number of your near-
est customer service centre can be found on the back of these user instruc-
tions.
Cleaning the appliance
– From time to time, wipe the appliance with a slightly moistened cloth, then rub
dry.
