After use, pull out the power supply unit. The proximity of water repre-
sents a hazard even when the trimmer is not being charged.
Installation of a residual current device (FI/RCD) with a rated residual
operating current of no more than 30 mA is recommended to provide
additional protection. Ask your electrician for advice. The installation
should only be carried out by a qualified electrician.

not use the appliance if the appliance or the connecting cable has any
visible damage, or if the appliance has previously been dropped.
Only connect the power supply unit to a properly installed and easily

Lay the connecting cable such that no one can step on it, get caught on

Ensure that the power supply unit cannot be plugged in again during
cleaning.
To avoid any hazard, do not make modifications to the appliance. You
also must not replace the connecting cable yourself. Repairs must be
carried out exclusively by your authorised customer service centre.
Use only the original mains plug adapters.
Use only original spare parts, which you can order from the customer
service centre (see the back of these user instructions). If the connecting
cable is damaged or crushed, it and the plug-in power supply device
need to be completely replaced.

Protect the battery against mechanical damage.
Do not expose the appliance to direct sunshine or heat. The ambient
temperature should not be lower than -10 °C or higher than +40 °C.
The charge contacts on the appliance must not be connected by metallic
objects.
