IRONING LABEL KIND OF MATERIAL THERMOSTAT CONTROL
Silk - wool
Synthetic fiber
Cotton
DO NOT PRAISE
Start ironing with materials that should be ironed at low temperature. This order of ironing significantly reduces
waiting time (the iron heats up faster than it cools down) and eliminates the risk of burning.
Ironing with steam
1. Check that the plug is unplugged from the outlet.
2. Set the steam control (C) to "0".
3. Open the water filler hole cover (B). Lift the front of the iron to pour water into the reservoir more easily and avoid
spills.
4. Slowly, using a special container, pour water into the tank, all the time being careful not to pour over the level
marked on the scale as "MAX" (about 300 ml). Close the lid of the water filler opening (B).
5. Place the iron in an upright position. Insert the plug into the socket.
6. Adjust the thermostat knob according to the international symbol on the label of the garment being ironed.
7. The thermostat indicator light indicates that the iron is heating up. Wait until the thermostat indicator light goes out.
You can then start ironing.
Warning: during ironing, the thermostat indicator light turns on from time to time, this means that the selected
temperature is kept constant. If you have lowered the temperature, do not start ironing until the thermostat light comes
on again.
8. The amount of steam is set with the steam regulator lever (C) . Set the steam regulator lever to a position between
minimum and maximum, depending on the amount of steam required and the selected temperature.
Warning: Continuous steam release occurs only when you hold the iron in a horizontal position. You can stop the
steam release by placing the iron in a vertical position or by moving the steam control to the "0" position. As indicated
on the thermostat knob and in the table on the previous page, you can use steam only at the highest temperatures.
Water may drip from the iron if the selected temperature is too low.
Steam blow button and vertical ironing
Press the steam impact button to cause a quick burst of powerful steam, which easily penetrates fabrics and can
smooth out the biggest creases. Wait a few seconds before using this button again.
Using the steam impact button (keeping the appropriate intervals between its use) you can also iron with the iron in the
vertical position (curtains, hanging clothes, etc.....).
Warning: The steam stroke function can only be used at the highest temperatures. Do not use the button when the
thermostat indicator light is on. You can return to vertical ironing only when the indicator light goes out.
Dry ironing
To iron without steam, set the steam control to the "0" position.
Spray function
Make sure the tank (M) is filled with water. Press the washer button (D) slowly (to shoot a compact stream of water)
or quickly (for a diffused stream).
Warning: When ironing delicate fabrics, we recommend wetting the fabric beforehand, using the washer (D), or by
placing a damp piece of fabric between the iron and the fabric being ironed. To avoid staining, do not use the washer
