Intelligent auto-off system
Features an auto-off system to ensure maximum safety and electricity savings in your home. The auto-off switch
activates after 8 minutes in the vertical position or after 30 seconds in the horizontal position, protecting your ironed
clothes from possible burning.
Anti-lime system (Anti-Calc)
A special resin filter inside the tank softens the water and prevents limescale build-up on the iron's soleplate. This filter
is permanently installed and does not need to be replaced.
NOTES:
Use only tap water. Distilled/demineralized water adversely affects the physical and chemical characteristics of the
filter and makes it ineffective.
Anti-Drip function
This function prevents water from dripping when ironing at lower temperatures.
Self-Clean function
It is recommended to periodically use the Self-Clean function of the foot, which prevents limescale build-up in the
iron. To do this, fill the iron to capacity with water, set the iron from the upright position, connect to the mains and set
the thermostat to the "MAX" position. After the indicator light goes out, unplug the device from the mains and hold it
horizontally, for example, over the sink. Press the Self-Clean button (J), hold for about a minute and shake the iron.
After the iron has cooled down, wipe the foot with a damp cloth to remove any dirt.
PRESSING
First use
For the sake of customer safety, each iron is subjected to leakage tests. This may cause water droplets to appear inside.
When using the iron for the first time, you may smell a faint odor of smoke and hear sounds from the plastic parts
expanding under increasing temperature. This phenomenon is normal and subsides after a short time of use. It is also
recommended to perform the first ironing on ordinary everyday clothes.
Preparation
Sort the laundry to be ironed according to, found on the labels of international markings for ironing , or if they are
missing by fabric type.
