Danger of damage to the
unit
Incorrect handling of the
appliance can cause damage:
∙ Always let the appliance
cool down fi rst before re-
fi lling with fresh water.
∙ Always place the unit on
a dry, level, non-slip and
heat-resistant surface,
which is impervious to
contact with the rubber
feet.
∙ Do not operate the
appliance below a
hanging cupboard or
similar object; there
is a risk that escaping
steam may be trapped
underneath.
∙ Do not let the power cord
hang free.
∙ Do not kink or pinch the
power cord. Keep both the
cord and the appliance itself
well away from heat sources
(eg hot-plates, gas fl ames).
