Insert the loose ends of the two slats underneath the
cover plates of the main module and insert them back
into the bracket N on the other side.

Place the main module with slats assembly onto the
crossbars P, with the long connection arms O facing
towards the head end of the bed. Ensure that the cables
of the motors run between the crossbars P and no
cables are squeezed. Fix the slats assembly with bolts K
and nuts J removed in step 1.

Ensure that the main module is placed in the middle of
the mattress support frame and the distance to the side
tubes is the same on both sides. Fix the main module
to the crossbars of the mattress support frame, with
the fixation plate, washer and nut, from underneath on
both sides of the bed.
Wiring
The control box and hand control is to be hung at the
footboard.

1. Connect the cables of the right and left motor to the
two extension cables S and T from the control box.
2. Connect the hand control to the shorter end of the
splitter cable R and connect the power cable Q to the
mains.
3. Deactivate the emergency stop, turn the system on,
activate manual mode and use the hand control to check
that the left and right motor are correctly connected
to the control box (see chapter Usage for detailed
instructions).

Elevate both wings of the main module and remove
the tape fixating the cable of the squeeze protection
switches on the main module. Run the switch cables to
one side of the bed and run the free end underneath
the first crosstube and on top of the second crosstube
towards the foot end of the bed. Connect the cable
to the longest end of the splitter cable R. Fix each of
the cables from the squeeze protection switches with a
plastic strip at the crosstube and Soft Tilt frame, facing
the head end of the bed.

Ensure that all cables run underneath the bed slats and
fasten one motor cable together with the switch cable
on side of the bed and the second motor cable on the
other side of the bed, with three plastic strips on each
side. The first strip is placed on the crossbar and the
remaining two on the side tube towards the foot end
of the bed.
