Danger of burning! The saw blade is still hot shortly
after cutting.
Secure the pulling mechanism.
Place the saw head to the top position.
Loosen the screw (A).
Swing the holding plate for the pendulum cover (16A) and
the pendulum cover (16) up.
Push the saw blade locking device (38).
Slowly turn the saw blade by hand until the saw blade
locking device catches. Keep the saw blade locking device
pressed.
Unscrew the hexagonal screw (34) for the saw blade (
left-handed thread) using the supplied tool (44).
Now, the front saw blade flange (35), the saw blade
(36) and the rear saw blade flange (37) can be removed.
Clean the saw blade flanges.
Position the rear saw blade flange again.
Insert a new saw blade.
Pay attention to the correct running direction of
the saw blade: The arrow on the saw blade and the arrow
on the protective cover must point in the same direction!
Position the front saw blade flange again.
The further assembly is now done in reverse sequence.
Retighten the hexagon screw. Before tightening
the hexagon head screw (34) for the saw blade, push in
the saw blade locking device (38)
Check the pendulum cover for its correct functioning before
proceeding.

Slowly lower the saw head.
When lowering, the saw blade must be released
without touching other parts.
Raise the saw head.
When swivelling upward the pendulum cover must
automatically cover the saw blade.
Replacing the carbon brushes
Replace the carbon brushes once they have been worn
down to approx. 4 mm.
Remove the carbon brush cover (4) on the side of the
motor cover by turning it counter clockwise using a suitable
screw driver.
Remove the carbon brushes (43); note the position of the
spring retention.
Insert the new carbon brushes observing the correct
position of the spring retention.
Replace the carbon brushes only in pairs.
Screw in the carbon brush cover (4) again.
Replacing the table insert
Immediately replace a worn or damaged table insert.
Remove the screws (12) of the work piece stop (11) and
remove the latter.
Loosen the screws of the table insert (9) and remove them.
Insert a new table insert and screw it tightly in place.
Align the tool stop to a stop angle (A, not supplied) and
retighten it.
Transport
Remove mains plug before each transport.
Before each transport:
Position saw head vertically
Turn rotary table to 0°
Push saw head down and engage the transport locking
pin (5)
Remove the workpiece supports (18) and the vice
assembly (20).
Secure the pulling device!
Carry the saw on its transport handle (2).
Always carry the saw on the carrying handle (2) or on
the outer cast parts. Do not hold the saw on the
protective covers or handle (1) when lifting it.
Storage
Remove the mains plug from the socket.
Store unused equipment in a dry, locked place out of the
reach of children.
Before extended storage, please observe the following to
increase the service life of the device and to ensure smooth
operation:
thoroughly clean the saw
treat all movable parts with an environmentally friendly oil
Never use any grease!
