9.1.3 cleaning the pressure reducing valve
f Rotate the shut-off valve 90° upwards to close the cold water
supply.
f Open the tap to depressurise the water heater.
f Rotate the setting screw in the threaded cap fully anti-clock-
wise to release the spring tension.
f Remove the cap.
f Remove the pressure reducing valve from the casing.
f clean the pressure reducing valve with tap water.
f Refit the pressure reducing valve and refit the cap.
f Return the system to its original pressure (see chapter „com-
missioning/Setting the pressure reducing valve").
f If this does not resolve the problem, replace the pressure
reducing valve.
9.1.4 testing the non-return valve
f check the non-return valve annually.
f Shut off the water and remove the cap from the test
connection.
No water must be expelled.
f Replace the non-return valve if it leaks.
