For later maintenance work on the installation, you can shut off
the supply line to the safety assembly.

f For safety reasons, check the safety valve twice each year.
f Turn the vent cap two or three times anti-clockwise.
During heat-up, expansion water must drip into the drain outlet
[GB: Tundish].
No water must drip out after heat-up has terminated.
9.1.2 cleaning / replacing the safety valve
f Rotate the shut-off valve 90° upwards to close the cold water
f Open the tap to depressurise the water heater.
f Undo the safety valve.
f clean the seat and gasket.
f Refit the safety valve.
f Replace the entire safety valve if a repair becomes necessary.
