Before performing any maintenance, disconnect the ap-
pliance from the mains.
Regular maintenance is required for the stove to function
correctly.
Any problems resulting from lack of maintenance will im-
mediately void the warranty.
DAILY MAINTENANCE
Operations must be performed when the stove is off, cold
and unplugged from the power supply
• Cleaning must be carried out with a vacuum cleaner (see page
45).
• Open the door and empty the ash tray (1 - Fig. A) into a non-
fl ammable container (it may contain ash which is still hot and/
or hot embers).
• DO NOT EMPTY THE RESIDUE OUT INTO THE PEL-
LET HOPPER.
• Remove the crucible (2 - Fig. B) and tip any residue in the
ash tray (1 - Fig. A), removing any encrusted material with the
brush provided. Also remove any debris blocking the holes.
• Remove the fi re box (1 - fi g. A) and remove any encrustation
using the brush provided, clearing any clogging in the holes.
• Vacuum the fi re box, clean the contact edges between the fi re
box and its seating.
• Clean the glass, if necessary (when cold).
Never vacuum hot ash, it can make the vacuum cleaner
breakdown and represents a fi re risk.
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
• Remove the ash tray (2 - fi g. B) and remove the smoke chan-
nel wall (3 - fi g. C-D) positioned under the crucible, lifting it
upwards, and vacuum the bottom (4 - fi g. D).
• Remove the ceiling (5 - fi g. E) and tip any residue into the ash
tray.
