INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
8. To insert battery. Slide the battery on
to the rails underneath the seat. Push the
battery fi rmly backwards until it locks
in position with an audible click.
9. Install the seat cushion which attaches with Velcro.
10. Pull-down footrest.
11. Charge battery.
The battery can be charged via the powerchair
by inserting the charger into the socket
on the underside of the joystick.

The battery can also be charged directly when
removed from the powerchair. (See section 8.2
of the Instructions for use for more details)

12. Ensure the charger is removed before operation and
switch the powerchair on.

13. After use, switch off (remove the battery if not using
for more than 48 hours). Then simply fold by releasing
and holding away the folding clip, and push forward
on the backrest. Stand the chair up right and store in a
suitable location.
14. Moving the controller for attendant control:
If you need an attendant to control the chair, the controller
can be moved to the upper bar of the backrest. Please
use the fi xing kit provided by Drive Devilbiss Healthcare
and refer to the assembly instructions.
