15. Stick-mode programming
With stick-mode programming, the individual receiver channels are assigned to the two control levers and their direc-
tions of movement. However, not all 24 possible assignments are selectable. Rather than this, the stick movements
correspond to the control directions and are combined in four groups (Modes 1-4).
The control lever allocations have to be reassigned both for use of the system for a model plane with V-tail and after
alteration of the control levers.
a) Installing the software
The software only has to be installed before the first programming. Each further use is started by clicking the

icon.
Put the enclosed CD into the drive of your computer.

First install the driver software.
•
Then install the application software.
•
Then reboot the computer.

b) Starting the programming
Before connecting it to the PC, the transmitter has to be switched on so that the transmitter will
be recognized as new hardware.
Switch the transmitter on.
•
Connect the PC connecting cable to the transmitter.
•
Connect the USB plug to the PC.
•
Start the programming by double-clicking on the icon txsetup.exe.
•
The possible selections and a bar display of the individual channels will be displayed on the starting screen.
