Fig 7: Unscrew the clamp (1) on the right-hand lever unit (when looked at from the rear), doing so with the two
Phillips screws. This clamp produces the frictional resistance for the forward and backward motion of the left control
lever (throttle/pitch).
Also take out the hexagonal rod assembly with internal thread (2), in which the lower end of the clamp is screw-
connected.
Fasten both on the right side of the lever unit, (when looked at from the rear}.
The further you turn the lower screw into the hexagonal rod assembly, the greater the frictional resistance becomes
for the control lever.
Fig 8: Take the tension spring on the left (3) on the left lever unit (when looked at from the rear) off the clamp and
take out the restoring lever (4). It provides for the right control lever being pulled back into the centre position when
moved forward and backward.
Put the restoring lever on the right side of the right lever unit when looked at from the rear and put the tension
spring in.
Carry out a performance check of the control levers.
After completing the alteration, the left (viewed from the front) control lever should then spring back into the centre
position when released.
Correct the pressure acting on the clamp on the right control lever (the frictional resistance) until it meets your
expectations.
Reconnect the plug for power supply to the circuit board.
Put the rear panel of the transmitter back on, paying attention to the position of the bind button.
Carry out a performance check of the system.
Reversing the control functions via the stick-mode programming reverses the assignment of
the functions for the control levers. The assignment of the functions for the receiver channels
is, however, maintained. Since the V-mixer always couples the functions of Channels 1 & 2, the
V-mixer can continue to be used in this case.
Bear in mind that, after altering the control levers, operating the system requires getting accus-
tomed to at first. Familiarise yourself with this mode of control.
Changing the control lever allocation without programming
After altering the control lever mechanism, the control lever allocation can also be mechanically reversed instead of
with corresponding programming of the stick mode.
To do so, the throttle/pitch servo has to be re-plugged from Channel 3 of the receiver to Channel 2 (elevator/nick),
and the elevator/nick servo from Channel 2 to Channel 3.
In this case, the assignment of the functions to the receiver channels is reversed, and the assignment of the channels
for the control levers is maintained.
After mechanical reversing of the control functions, their assignment to the receiver channels
is reversed. The V-mix can therefore not be used (DIL Switch 5 (V-Mix) to „OFF")!
Otherwise, when the V-mixer was switched on, the throttle/pitch functions (now Channel 2) and
aileron (Channel 1) would be electronically mixed.
