13. Connection of a Microphone
You can connect an external microphone to the connection"MIC" (20).
Note:
If the keyboard's volume (or that of a connected amplifier) is turned too high, there will be feed-
back/whistling.
In this case, reduce the volume of the keyboard or amplifier or use a microphone with different
reception characteristics (directional microphone).
14. Commissioning
a) Switching On/Off
The slider (1) switches the keyboard on (switch position „ON") or off (switch position „OFF"). When the
keyboard is off, the red power LED lights up.
When switching off, all settings are lost and reset to factory settings.
b) Setting the Volume
The button „VOLUMEp" increases volume; the button „VOLUMEq" (3) reduces volume.
Every time a button is pushed, a beep sounds; the volume of the beep depends on the current
volume settings.
c) Demo Mode
Briefly push the button „DEMO" (17) to start playback of the first demo song. Every further push of the but-
ton „DEMO" switches to the next Demo song. A total of 6 different demo songs are available.
The buttons „FAST" and „SLOW" (13) set the speed. The button „FAST" is used to increase speed, the
button „SLOW" to reduce it.
Pushing the button „STOP" (14) ends playback of the demo song.
d) Select Instrument
The buttons „TIMBRE A" (9) are used to select instruments 1 - 8, the button „TIMBRE B" (11) for instru-
ments 9 - 16 (see print on the top of the keyboard).
