7.5 Child lock
The induction hotplate has a child lock so that the settings cannot be changed accidentally.
Risk of injury
Each of the two heating zones (1, 3) has a separate child lock. If you wish to prevent children
fiddling with the induction hob, you must lock both heating zones (1, 3). Also make sure that
the indicators (5) are lit up on the control panels for the left heating zone (1) and the right
heating zone (3). If you forget to lock one of the heating zones, there is a risk of burns, injuries
or other damage.
How to enable the child lock:
1.
Press the + (14) and - (12) buttons together briefly. An acoustic signal can be heard and the
indicator (5) lights up. The child lock is now activated.
How to disable the child lock:
1.
Press and hold the + (14) and - (12) buttons for about 3 seconds. An acoustic signal can be heard
and the indicator (5) light goes out. The child lock is now deactivated again. You can use the
induction hotplate as normal.
You can also activate the child lock when the induction hotplate is switched off.
If you activate the child lock while the induction hotplate is on, it can still be switched off.
But all other functions are blocked.
7.6 Keep-warm function
You can keep food warm for up to 2 hours at approx. 60 °C using the keep-warm function.
How to use the keep-warm function:
1.
While the induction hob is running, press the button for the keep-warm function
(13) then alternates between showing "60" and the remaining keep-warm time (starting at "120"
minutes). The keep-warm function indicator (19) lights up.
If necessary, you can use the boost function at the same time (see below). After the heating
time of 30 seconds at full power, the device automatically switches back to the keep-warm
