ance on or to interrupt or reset the timer. When
you switch the appliance on, the most recently

go on as soon as the appliance is at mains volt-

"ON/OFF" key.

• Insert the plug in the wall socket; the red light
next to the "ON/OFF" key will now go on.
• Set the pan of your choice on the cooking sur-

in mind.
• ATTENTION! Make sure that the pans are cov-
ering the indicated zones at all times during use
in order to prevent the appliance from getting
damaged.
• ATTENTION! Do not leave your pan on the appli-

your pans.
• Switch the appliance on by pressing the "ON/
OFF" key. If your pan is suitable for induction and

5. You can read the set value on this display. These
are steps 1 through 10 for power level control,
from 60°C to 240°C for temperature control and
from 0 to 180 minutes for timer settings.
• ATTENTION! If the appliance beeps after being
switched on, the pan you are using is not suitable
for induction or the appliance is defective. In case
of any doubt, always contact the supplier of your
pan!
• Once the appliance is operating and the display
indicates power leve "5", you can program the
appliance in one of the following two ways:
- Power level: You can control the performance of
the appliance, just as for a gas stove, via power
level 1 through 10. Set the appliance to the de-
fault level "5".
- Temperature control: you can set the tem-
perature between 60°C and 240°C in 20°C in-
crements. Default setting for the appliance is
200°C. ATTENTION! The set temperature is that
of the glass plate and not the temperature in
the pan!
