During diode or continuity testing, make sure that
the diode and any circuit into which it may possibly
be built is absolutely voltage-free. All capacitors
present must be discharged.

G Frequency measurement
The measuring instrument has a so-called AUTO RANGE feature
only with frequency measurement. This means that the measuring
range automatically adjusts to suit the connected frequency, reco-
gnisable by the position of the decimal point.
To measure a frequency, proceed as follows:
1. Connect the black test lead to the COM socket and the red test
lead to the "HzFOhm
2. Set the rotary switch to "40kHz".
3. Connect the test probes to the points to be measured (generator
output, etc.).
It is essential to observe the maximum input levels!
With voltages greater than 25 VAC or 35 VDC, there
is danger to the user in the event of contact.
Do not switch to another measuring function or to
another range during measurement. It is not possi-
ble to perform a frequency measurement at volta-
ges lower than approx. 2 V rms.
