Operating elements
(for illustration, see fold-out page)
1 4 mm safety socket for connecting the red test lead during vol-
tage measurement up to 1000 VDC and 750 VAC rms max.
2 4 mm safety socket for connecting the black test lead = COM or
ground socket
3 4 mm safety socket "HzFOhm
lead during frequency measurements, capacity measurements,
resistance measurements and diode tests/continuity tests.
4 LC display (3 1/2-digit, highest display value: 1999)
5 Rotary switch (=measuring function switch) for selecting the
measuring functions frequency measurement, resistance mea-
surement, continuity test/diode test, capacity measurement, DC
voltage measurement, AC voltage measurement, AC current
measurement, with "OFF" position (unit off).
6 "M MAX" button for capturing the maximum value
7 "H HOLD" button for the "data hold" function (hold measured
value)
8 Current clamp area with 8a clamp opening lever, 8b hand pro-
tector, 8c clamp opening with an opening width of 57 mm max.
(to "enclose" single cables, conductor systems, etc.)
Never grip beyond the hand protector during the
measurement of currents. Attention! Touching elec-
trical circuits can endanger life!
9 Battery compartment on the base of the case (one screw)
For your own safety, it is essential to observe the
maximum input levels.
