Recipe suggestions
Belgian Waffles (Gaufres de Liège)
- 400g wheat flour
- 160ml lukewarm milk        
- 2 eggs
- 150g coarse sugar
- 50g sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- ½ packet dry yeast
- 100g butter, room temperature
- 1 vanilla bean, core
Preparation:
combine the wheat flour, dry yeast, salt and sugar, properly.
Add the eggs, butter and core of the vanilla bean. Stir in the
lukewarm milk until the batter is smooth.
In order for the dough to rise, leave it to rest for approx. 45
minutes.
Before starting the baking process knead in the coarse sugar.
Preheat the appliance and bake small amounts of the batter.
Delicious!
If you prefer them with a chocolate icing, just dip half of the
waffle into melted chocolate. Yum!
Classic Waffles
Ingredients:
- 125g butter
- 100g sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 4 eggs
- 250g flour
- 1 table spoon baking powder
- 200 ml milk
