Cleaning and care
For hygienic reasons the appliance interior, including interior
accessories, should be cleaned regularly.

Warning!
• The appliance must not be plugged into the mains when being
cleaned. There is a risk of an electric shock! Before cleaning,
switch off the appliance and unplug it, pull the fuse or switch
off the circuit breaker.
• Never clean the appliance with steam cleaners. Moisture could
penetrate into the electrical components, there is a risk of an
electric shock! Hot steam can cause damage to plastic parts.
• The appliance must be dry before it is placed back into service.
Attention!
• Ethereal oils and organic solvents can attack plastic parts, e.g.
– Juice from lemon or orange peel;
– butyric acid;
– Cleaners that contain acetic acid.
Do not allow such substances to come into contact with the
parts of the appliance.
• Do not use any abrasive cleansers.
0 Remove frozen food and wrap it in several layers of newspaper.
Store it in a cool place, well covered.
0 Defrost the appliance prior to cleaning (see "Defrosting" sec-
tion).
0 Switch off the appliance and unplug it, or pull the fuse or switch
off the circuit breaker.
0 Clean the appliance, including the interior fittings, with a cloth
and warm water. Use some washing up liquid in the water if
necessary.
0 After cleaning wipe with fresh water and rub dry.
0 When everything is dry, replace the food and switch the
appliance on again.
