4. INSTALLATION
a. Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone.
b. In the settings of your smartphone, activate the location services (iOS) or the location (Android).
c. Remove the battery contact barrier. [Fig. 5]
Information! For the description of how to open the housing, please refer to 5. Battery
replacement.
d. Download and start the CRATONI CONNECT APP.
e. You have to accept all necessary authorisations; otherwise, the crash sensor will not work.
f. The initial set-up screen appears; here, select the C-SAFE in the APP.
g. Please enter your name as it will be displayed in the emergency SMS as the person who suffered
an accident.
h. You can select up to 3 emergency contacts. The emergency contact must be a mobile phone
number that has to be set up with a + and the country code of your country, e.g. for Germany:
+49163xxxxxxx.
i. The crash sensor does not have an On/Off button; it is always in standby mode and is activated by
movement. [Fig. 6]
j. If the crash sensor is activated, it flashes in red. You now have 30 seconds to couple the sensor
with the CRATONI CONNECT APP under My devices.
k. To do this, click on the yellow bar, a gray bar appears with Search, now the sensor is displayed,
click Connect now. Now the sensor is connected.
l. After the crash sensor has been coupled with your smartphone, the crash sensor LED starts
flashing in green permanently.
m. The installation of your CRATONI C-SAFE CRASH SENSOR is now completed.
Information! After successful initial set-up, you only have to switch on Bluetooth, the location
services (iOS) or the location (Android) of your smartphone, activate the crash sensor and
open the CRATONI CONNECT APP for future use. The crash sensor will then be automatically
connected.
