Safety information
• On drives which are controlled using a switch with an OFF setting,
the switch must be fitted in view of the device, away from moving
parts and at a height of over 1.5 m.
• Unprotected moving parts of the drive must be installed at a height
of over 2.5 m from the floor or any other level that enables access
to the drive. Ensure a minimum distance of 40 cm between moving
parts and surrounding objects.
• Do not allow children to play with fixed control systems. Keep re-
mote control systems away from children.
• When being used in awnings whose extended system parts may be
closer than 2 m to the ground or another access level to the system,
a minimum distance of 40 cm to other fixed objects must be main-
tained.
• The white PVC motor connection cable must be laid in the conduit
in outdoor areas and in flush-mounted installations. Drives with a
PVC(H05VV-F) cable may only be used indoors. If the power connec-
tion cable of the drive is damaged, have it replaced by the manufac-
turer, the manufacturer's customer service or a similarly qualified
person.
• The warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect handling,
incorrect wiring, application of force, unauthorised interference
in the drive or subsequent alterations to the system, as well as
non-observance of the safety instructions and damage that occurs
as a result.
• Only use unaltered SELVE original parts and accessories. For more
