Installation
Space required
• Select a location that is not exposed to direct sunlight.
• Ensure there is sufficient space to be able to open the refrigerator doors easily.
• Select an area where the floor is level (or almost level).
• Provide for sufficient space to install the refrigerator on a flat surface.
• Allow space to the right, left, rear and above the appliance when you install it. This will help
to reduce its electricity consumption and thus your energy bills.
Changing the door opening side (see figures
Note: The assembly method shown in the illustrations must be adapted to the actual door position
for your appliance.
• Remove the protective cover (left- or right-hand side) and then the cover screw on the top of
the appliance (Pic. A).
• Loosen the hinge cover screw (left- or right-hand side) and remove it (Pic. B). Lift off the upper
door and place this on a clean flat surface to avoid scratches.
• Unscrew and remove the middle hinge (Pic. C).
• Unscrew the lower hinge and then unscrew the adjustable feet on both sides of the appliance
(Pic. D). Lift off the lower door and place this on a clean flat surface to avoid scratches.
• Remove the metal pin from the lower hinge using a spanner (Pic. E).
• Turn the middle hinge 180° and re-screw the pin into the hinge (Pic. F).
• Fit the lower hinge on the other side and then re-tighten the adjustable feet (Pic. G).
• Remove the middle pad (left- or right-hand side) and the metal pad block (left- or right-
hand side) on the bottom of the lower door (Pic. H).
