THE SADDLE
Put the saddle tube in the frame tube (at
least 7 mm). Adjust the saddle tube very
carefully with a 13 mm socket spanner.
HANDLEBARS AND STEERING TUBE
Put the steering tube in the steering head
in such a way that the brand mark is not
visible anymore. Properly secure the
expander with a 6 mm socket spanner. The
position of the handlebars can also be set
to the position required. Loosen the clamp
bolt by a little more than a turn. Rotate
the hadlebars tube and tighten the bolt
again thoroughly.
COMFORT
SADDLE AND SADDLE TUBE
The saddle and handlebars form the basis
of seated comfort. During running in there
is soon a tendency to adjust the saddle.
There is a simple rule for the correct
height of the saddle. With the crank in line
with the seat tube, without shoes and the
heel on the pedal, the leg must still just be
able to be stretched [1].
When cycling, now with shoes on and
supported by the ball of the foot, you will
reach the ideal height for relaxed pedalling
[2]. A too high will cause sliding across the
saddle and protests from your back. AToo
low causes irritation in the hollows of the
knees.
TECHNIQUE
1. To adjust the height the saddle tube
bolt should be loosened a little.
2. The safety marks with the warning note
may, after the adjustment, never be visible
[3]. There will then be sufficient
length in the frame tube (7 cm) to prevent
breakage.
3. By loosening the saddle fixing bolt you
