2. Charge the battery (15) when only the
red LED on the charge level indicator
(17) is illuminated.

Notes
• If warm, allow the battery to cool be-
fore charging.
• Do not expose the battery to direct sun-
light for long periods and do not place
it on a radiator (max. 50°C).
Charging the battery
1. Remove the battery (15) from the
device.
2. Push the battery (15) into the charging
slot of the battery charger (14).
3. Connect the battery charger (14) to a
power outlet.
4. After charging, disconnect the battery
charger (14) from the mains.
5. Pull the battery (15) out of the battery
charger (14).

Operation
Inserting and removing the

chargeable battery into the device once

Inserting the battery
1. Push the battery (15) along the guide
into the battery holder (8).
You will hear the battery click into
place.
Removing the battery
1. Press and hold the battery release (18)
on the battery (15).
2. Pull the battery out of the battery hold-
er (8).

1. Select the direction of rotation with the
rotation direction switch (6).
2. Select a gear with the gear selector
switch (4).
3. Select a maximum torque or drilling
with the torque adjustment ring (3).
4. Press and hold the On/off switch (10).
The LED work light (9) lights up.
Switching off (Fig. A)
1. To turn it off, release the on/off switch
(10).
2. Wait until the power tool has stopped
before placing it down.
3. When taking a break: Set the direc-
tion of rotation switch (6) to the centre.
These safety measures prevent acci-
dentally starting the power tool.
You can hang the tool on a belt using
the belt clip (20). With the belt clip
you can open bottles with crown caps.
4. Remove the rechargeable battery (15)
from the device if you are leaving the
device unattended or if you have fin-
ished working.
