Service
Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair
a)
person using only identical replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
Never service damaged battery packs. Service of battery
b)
packs should be only be performed by the manufactured or authorized
service providers.
Safety guidelines for screwdrivers
Hold the power tool by the insulated gripping surfaces,
a)
when performing an operation where the fastener may
contact hidden wiring. Fasteners contacting a "live" wire may
make exposed metal parts of the power tool "live" and could give the
operator an electric shock.
Secure the workpiece. A workpiece securely held by a clamping
b)
device or vice is much safer than one held in your hand.
Hold the power tool firmly. High reaction moments can occur for
c)
brief periods while lightening and loosening screws.
Switch the power off immediately if the tool blocks while
d)
in use. Be prepared for high reaction moments as these can cause
kickback.
While working on the appliance, transporting it or
e)
storing it, always set the rotation direction switch to the
central position (lock position). This prevents the power tool
from starting up unintentionally.
Vibration and noise reduction
To reduce the impact of noise and vibration emission, limit the time of
operation, use low-vibration and low-noise operating modes as well as wear
personal protective equipment.
