HEATING SYSTEM
LiFePO₄ batteries of the LT series have an integ-
rated battery heater, which is supplied exclusively
by an external power source (charger, generator,
etc.). This makes it possible to charge the LiFePO₄
battery even at minus temperatures.
If the battery temperature is below 0°C, the bat-
tery heater is switched on first when an external
power source is applied and heats the battery
cells to 3°C to protect them from destruction.
The heater is then switched off and the battery is
charged normally.
