2. INTRODUCTION
2.1 GENERAL DESCRIPTION
WELDKAR WK TIG 320 AC / DC PULSE
A unique machine for the professional TIG welder!
The Weldkar WK TIG 320 AC/DC Pulse has a 320
Amp power source (60% duty cycle) at 400 Volts.
With continuous use, the maximum welding current is
250 Ampere. This TIG welding machine is particularly
suitable for (medium) heavy industrial and serial
production work. Thanks to its high power and
alternating/direct current technology, aluminum up
to 10 mm can be welded in addition to stainless steel
and steel. This machine is equipped with a range of
adjustment options for (Pulse) TIG welding. This allows
the welder to set various parameters: Gas pre-flow,
start flow, up slope, main welding current, down slope,
crater current, gas post-flow, balance control and pulse
frequency control. The latter is indispensable for thin-
walled welding. Of course, this professional welding
machine has a high-frequency (HF) ignition and a 2- /
4-stoke circuit. The WC TIG 320 AC / DC Pulse also
has an MMA function. With this, coated rutile, basic and
stainless steel electrodes up to 5 mm can be welded.
The control panel is simple and clear, despite the many
functions. A wireless remote control increases ease
of use and ensures accurate remote adjustment. Even
with the supplied foot pedal, the welding current can be
smoothly adjusted during welding. With this simple, and
accurately set Weldkar welding machine, you achieve
a very high-quality weld, and you have precise control
over the weld pool. Thus, with this machine, you can
choose from 3 different welding current modes during
TIG AC welding; the normal modes (also called a sine
wave), square wave and triangle wave. Each mode has
its specific welding properties. This gives you even
more control over the weld pool and the penetration.
The Weldkar WK TIG 320 AC/DC Pulse is especially
suitable for long-term, intensive use with high power.
The integrated water cooler ensures that this welding
can be carried out properly and reduces wear of the
parts. The welding machine is supplied on a mobile
undercarriage, which ensures excellent mobility in the
workshop of the metalworking industry or on location.
Welding inverter is supplied as standard with a:
- WK TIG 320 AC/DC Pulse Inverter Power Source
