Before Initial Use
1. Remove any possible fi lms, stickers or transport protection from the device. Never
remove the rating plate or any possible warnings.
2. Insert batteries into the remote control (see "Inserting / Changing Batteries in the
Remote Control").

Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts in the remote control and on
the batteries are clean, and clean them if necessary.

1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote
control: Press the locking catch on the battery compart-
ment cover and remove it.
2. Insert two batteries (1.5 V, AAA type) into the battery com-
partment. Pay attention to the correct polarity (+ / –).
Please Note: Always replace all batteries together. Do not
use batteries of diff erent types or brands, or batteries with
diff erent capacities.
3. Insert the battery compartment cover and fl ip it shut.
Replace the batteries when the power of the remote control
starts to wane.
