Electrical Connection
Before starting the machine check the correspondence between voltage
and frequency according to the data mentioned on the identification plate.
Voltage differences from + 6 % and – 10 % are allowed.
The screwdriver is made in protection class II.
Tool Change
Attention!
Before any work on the tool, disconnect the plug from the
mains!
To replace the bit, pull off the depth stop (1) (Fig.5).
The bit can then be pulled from the bit holder and a new bit inserted.
Replace the depth stop.
Adjusting the depth
The depth for driving a screw into the material can be adjusted by turning
the depth stop (1). Turn it in "A" direction to decrease depth and in "B"
direction to increase depth. (Fig. 4)
One full turn of the locking sleeve equals 1.5 mm change in depth. The
adjusting collar ensures 7 complete revolutions or 10.5 mm total.
One revolution has 8 fixed positions, each equal to 0.19 mm.
The required setting is best determined by testing.
To loosen a screw press the reversing button (2) (see: Selecting the
direction of rotation) and remove the depth stop.
Switching on and off
Short-Time Operation
Switching-on:
press the on/off switch (3)
Switching-off:
release the on/off switch (3)
Permanent Operation
Switching-on:
press the on/off switch (3) and, keeping it pressed, engage
the arrestor button (4)
Switching-off:
press the on/off switch (3) and let it go off again
The screw driver is equipped with an electronic switch.
With this switch the speed can be regulated according to the pressure on
the button.
Permanent use with reduced speed can cause an overload because the
motor then gets less cooling air and therefore the machine will be
overheated much faster.
