3. OPERATION
There is an operating display on the front side of the
hood. Explanation of operating buttons:
TL
T1
TL: lighting
T1: on/off button
T2, T3 and T4: motor speed.
Switch the fan on and off
Press T1 to switch the motor on.
Override shutoff delay mode
If the cooker hood is in shutoff delay mode and you
wish to override this, press and hold the active shutoff
delay mode button (T1, T2 or T3) for at least 1 second.
Shutoff delay mode has now been overridden and
the LED indicator lamp will change from flashing to
continuous.
Switching off using a run-out mode
The extractor hood has an adjustable runout mode. To
select the runout time, press and hold the TL button
until all the LEDs on the control panel flash. By pressing
one of the buttons (T1, T2, T3, T4) the following runout
times can be set:
T1: 5 minutes
T2: 10 minutes
T3: 15 minutes
T4: 20 minutes
Switching off without using a run-out mode
Press T1 twice.
Fan speed
The motor has 4 speeds.
The 'POWER' mode (T4) is only used in the event of
strong odour, smoke or vapour being present. Use of
this mode must be kept to a minimum due to the large
flow of air when this mode is selected.
The 'POWER' mode automatically returns to speed
three after 5 minutes.
A selfrectifying thermal contact makes sure that the
motor is switched off when overheated. The motor will
switch on again after is has cooled down. The cause of
the overheating needs to be determined. This may be,
for example, that the contents of the pan have caught
fire, the motor fan is blocked or an object is (partly)
closing off the outlet opening.
Lighting
Press the TL button to switch the LED lighting on or off.
Side exhaust
The hood has been equipped with side exhaust. This
means that the extraction is concentrated on the side
of the hood. This creates a higher air speed on the
sides, which leads to more efficient extraction.

keep the T4 button pressed to reset the timer. If you do
not do this, the indicator lamps will remain lit until the

tergent. Rince and allow to dry completely
Important! The previous instructions need to be
followed. If not an increased fire hazard may occur.
4.2 Recirculation (option)
Recirculation filter cleaning indicator
Indication: 4 indicator lamps flash
When switching the hood off after 120 hours of cooking
the motor setting indicator lamps keep flashing for 30
seconds.
This is an indication that the fat filter needs cleaning
and the recirculation filters need to be replaced. =
Removing the recirculation filters
Open the bottom panel and remove the grease filter
from the cooker hood. 2 round recirculation filters
are located on either side of the motor. Rotate the
recirculation filters a quarter turn to remove them from
