Backrest

Height-adjustable Backrest
The backrest height can be
adjusted from 350 mm -
500 mm (depending on the
backrest position). Release the
bolts (1)+(2), and push the
backrest tube to the desired

again (Fig. 6.22).
Angle Adjustable

The angle of the backrest
can be set to 6 different
positions (-5° forwards, 0°,
5°, 10°, 15° and 20°
backwards). To adjust the
angle, remove the screw (1),
set the desired angle and
then re-tighten the screw.
(Fig. 6.23). By releasing the
clamp lever (1) the backrest
height can be infinitely
adjusted from 350 mm – 500 mm.
Adjusting the backrest
angle
(7° - 30°)
By pulling both levers
together (1), you can
release the backrest and
then move it to the desired
position.
On releasing the two levers
(1) the backrest will
automatically lock into
place (Fig. 6.24).
WARNING!
The reclining backrest can only be used in conjunction with
the wheelbase extension.
It is recommended that the reclining backrest is used in
conjunction with anti-tip tubes (maximum ground clearance
30 mm - 50 mm).
We recommend that the reclining backrest is used in
conjunction with a stabilising bar.
Adjustable Back Sling,
(Fig. 6.25)
The adjustable back sling can be
adjusted for tension by parting
the Velcro® straps and moving
them through the buckles (1).
When the desired tension is
achieved, press the Velcro back
together.
Repeat the process for each
strap.
The back sling upholstery can be
accessed from the inside via an
opening and can be padded to suit individual tastes.
WARNING!
Ensure that each strap is firmly secured before using the wheelchair.

Sedeo Back

The Sedeo back permits comfortable long seating with lateral
support and is height, depth and angle adjustable.
To remove, push each release lever (1) forward to unlock.
Once both levers are in the forward position, simply lift the back
straight up.
To re-attach the back, simply line up the pins to the receivers
1
and push into place. If properly inserted the pins will "click" to a
locked position.
The two locking pins which, when secured, prevent the back
from being released from the chair. To lock, insert the pins into
the mounting receivers. Simply remove the pins if the quick-
release capability is desired, (Fig. 6.27 - 6.29).
