3. If the temperature of the storage area of the
thermometer differs a lot from that of the
measuring area, please wait 30 minutes before
measuring.
4. Please open the battery cover and remove the
insulating piece for the batteries when you use the
thermometer for the first time. The thermometer
turns on automatically and the LCD display looks
like the figure as shown on the right.
Press any button to turn it on when it was turned
off.
Caution:
In waiting mode, the LCD circularly displays the time and the
current room temperature.

how to measure forehead temperature
1. Place the thermometer in your hand as shown with
your thumb on the [ ] measuring button.
• Do not press the button yet.
• Make sure the probe is clean before measuring.
2. Press the [ ] measuring button. The sensor is on
and you can locate the position for the forehead
measurement. If the position is OK, release the
button, but keep the thermometer in position until
you hear a sound signal. The control light will be lit
according to the temperature (green is good, red
means fever). The measurement is complete and
the thermometer may be removed from the head.
3. Read the temperature on the display.
Caution: After pressing the measuring button, the
distance sensor will detect the distance between
the forehead and thermometer. If the distance is
between 1- 5cm, it will directly test the forehead
temperature. If the distance is more than 5cm or
less than 1cm, a sound signal will be issued, it indicates that the
thermometer should be moved closer to the forehead in 1- 5cm.
If not , it will return directly to waiting mode.
