Connecting the stove
The Linde is a heavy wood-burning stove. Depending on the version, and including 2 metres of flue pipe, it weighs at least 200
kilos. Make sure that the floor on which you plan to install the stove can easily bear this weight. Before assembling the stove, follow
the instructions given in the previous chapter Preparation. Protect your back and the floor throughout assembly.
Repairs
Replacing the glass

Open the door,
•
Remove the four screws on the inside of the door,
•
Remove the two glass retainers
•
Carefully remove the glass from the door,
•
Check that the tape in the door is undamaged and secure. If not,
fix it with heat-resistant glue or replace the tape altogether.

Fit the new glass, taking care not to cut yourself on sharp edges,,
•
And replace the retainers and screws to secure it in place.
Do not touch the clean glass with your fingers. Fingerprints burn into the glass.
