g) Installation and Linkage of the „Turnfins"
„Turnfins" can be installed at the left and right of your model's tail and adjusted slightly (figure 2, item 7). The „turnfins"
are installed so that the sharp edges of the fins point forward in running direction. Installed „turnfins" improve the
driving conduct of the model in curves.
During installation or after setting, the screws must be protected from independent loosening with a drop of
threadlocker varnish.
The model's conduct in curves depend on many factors. For example, the weight and installation site of the drive
battery and/or the properties of the water surface (many or few waves) influence the model curve properties. Therefore,
these operating instructions can to offer specific setting information. Adjust the „turnfins" to the best setting for curves
by running attempts.
Attention!
The „turnfins" are very sharp-edged at the front and may cause severe injury and/or property damage when
handling, transporting and in operation.
h) Installing the Boat Stand
The scope of delivery includes a boat rack of wood
that has to be assembled and glued together first.
Build the boat rack of the four wood parts as shown
in figure 3.
The side parts (figure 3, item 1) must be built so that
the wide side points down.
The side parts are attached into the long parts (figure
3, item 2).
Glue the wood parts on with a drop of viscous in-
stant adhesive or some 5-minute epoxy glue.
