9.7.2 Instyle Tunnel / Prostyle Tunnel
9.7.2.1 Air slide valve
Pior to installing the appliance, check the operation of the air slide (see appendix 2, fig. 20a and 20b). It is possible
that steel grit ended up in the air slide during transportation. If the air slide does not run smoothly, it has to be
cleaned. For this, the air slide should be disassembled. The suspended air slide valve is spring-mounted using a
bolt and a spring, which are located below the cover plate.
When disassembling the air slide, proceed as follows (see appendix 2, fig. 20a and 20 b):
Has an outside air connection been mounted? If so, this should be removed first (see appendix 2, fig. 20b and
!Caution
section 9.7.2.2).
Ø
Remove the vermiculite plates from the bottom (see chapter 9.7.3.2.1).
Ø
Unscrew the 5 Allen screws of the cover plate from the bottom and remove them.
Ø
Unscrew the Allen screw with spring.
Ø
Remove the air slide by bringing it towards you.
Ø
Check the air slide and clean it if necessary.
For placing back the air slide, the actions described for disassembling should be performed in reverse order.
9.7.2.2 Outside air connection
It is possible to provide the appliance with an outside air connection. This outside air connection is optionally
available (as an external kit). This kit can be used for a connection on the bottom of the appliance and is available
through your supplier.
It is possible that the outside air connection is pre-mounted at delivery. This will be the case for an RS (room
!Caution
sealed) version. Observe the steps as described under the heading 'Outside air connection pre-mounted'.
When assembling the outside air connection, proceed as follows:
Outside air connection not pre-mounted (see appendix 2, fig. 21):
Ø
Remove the lever at the bottom of the appliance by loosening the 2 screws and removing them.
Ø
Remove the 4 screws at the bottom of the appliance.
Ø
Place the tray with mounted pipe opening against the bottom of the appliance.
Ø
Re-use the 4 screws to mount the tray.
Ø
Place back the lever and fasten it by means of the 2 screws.
Ø
Connect the flexible hose (Ø 80 mm) to the round pipe opening of the outside air connection.
In case of a fully closed system, always ensure an air-tight connection of the flexible hose to the round pipe
!Caution
opening by using a heat resistant sealant.
For disassembling the outside air connection, please observe the above-mentioned steps in reverse order.
Outside air connection pre-mounted (see appendix 2, fig. 22):
