9. Charging and inserting the battery
The lithium-ion battery is delivered pre-charged and must be fully charged before initial use.
To charge the lithium-ion battery, use only the enclosed charger and corresponding plug-in power supply. Any other
charger may contribute to destruction of the battery. There is a risk of fire and explosion!
The charger will become warm during operation. Place the charger on a non-sensitive and heat-resistant surface.
Preparing the plug-in power supply
The enclosed plug-in power supply is supplied with interchangeable mains plugs for worldwide use. Select the mains
plug suitable for use in Europe.
For use abroad, select the corresponding mains plug. Power plugs for use in the United Kingdom/Ireland and Australia
are also enclosed.
The American plug is integrated into the power adapter. For American connector system, simply fold the two flat
contacts out of the plug-in power supply. No adapter is needed for this.
Slide the mains plug from the top onto the plug-in power supply until you feel it snap into place. The tops of the plug
and the power adapter must be flush.
To remove the mains plug, slide the mains plug upwards out of the power adapter with some force.
